Similarify (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Your Photos Stay Private
We do not upload your photos to any server.
- All similarity analysis happens locally on your device.
- We never see, store, or share your personal photos.
2. Data We Do Collect
We collect limited data to make the app work:
A. Account Info (Google Sign-In)
- Email & ID: To create your account.
- Profile Picture: To display your avatar.
B. Usage Stats (Cloud Sync)
Stored in Google Cloud (Firebase) to sync your data across devices:
- Daily Balance: How many items you grouped/deleted today.
- Ad Balance: Balance earned from watching ads.
C. Device Data (Ads)
Google AdMob collects standard device data (Advertising ID, IP address) to show you relevant rewarded ads.
3. Permissions
- Photos/Storage: To scan your library and let you delete files.
- Internet: For Sign-In, Cloud Sync, and Ads.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following services:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, analytics
- Google AdMob: Advertising
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- Photos: You control your photos. We never store them.
- Account Data: Retained while your account is active.
- Deletion: You can request complete account deletion by emailing us. We will delete all your data within 30 days.
6. Children’s Privacy
Similarify is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of changes.
